Hi there, I’m the off-platform editor at the Los Angeles Times.

What does that mean? Mostly that I work with companies and publisher partners to figure out what works for us as a news organization, and what doesn’t. I’m interested in meeting people where they are — whether that be on a news aggregator, social media or some mix of something to come. I also deal with the workflow if we do decide to partner together, and the day to day of a busy news cycle. I love what data shows us about how we consume media.

Prior to that, I worked as a reporter and editor for community papers from Maryland to California. I enjoy writing about how policy affects people, and reading long features. I worked for the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland for a period time.

My interests run far and wide. I love pop culture and politics. I like drinking craft beer, hiking, and crocheting. I’m a small-r runner: I love to run, but am not exactly fast. Feel free to look around or contact me.
